The 2017 Holiday Season is quickly approaching and now is the time to stock up on your holiday cards! Whether you’re just looking for inspiration as you make your own, or are a Minted diehard buying hundreds of cards from them yearly, you could spend a lot of time sifting through their beautiful designs. We took a look and, although it was certainly difficult to narrow down, we came up with our top three picks for this upcoming holiday. You can also check out Minted's Top-Voted holiday cards here (affil).

Now, we all know the standard events that warrant sending out a Christmas card in any given year: an engagement, wedding, new house, baby… you know, the major life events. While there are certainly dozens of cards on Minted that cater to these milestones, there are so many that are for your everyday family. Our favorites were ones that were simple and appealing to both men and women. The other thing we really liked was that they were genuine…they weren’t trying too hard to be cool, or portray the perfect family that is “Merry All Year Round”.

Our Top Picks

Our number one pick, Gilded Pines, was designed by Susan Asbill out of Dallas, Texas. She certainly struck a chord with us Minnesotans who love our pines and the great outdoors. Her simple sentiment is all you need to spread holiday cheer and, let’s be honest, gold foil will never go out of style for Christmas. See more foil-pressed cards from Minted here (affil).

Second place goes to Preppy Blocks, by Oscar & Emma out of Columbus, Ohio. Perfect for the contemporary family, we love the color choices and, again, simple message. Nothing screams “holiday cheer” quite like this light and bright card.

Coming in third is Wonder Wonder by Carrie ONeal from Fairfield, Ohio. A classic that will never go out of style and brings thoughts of one of our favorite holiday movies. A text overlay with the right picture creates a timeless card that will look great on the fridge.

Why Minted?

Stationary adds up quickly. I know, I’ve been there. I’ve created my own and done the cheap printing at office max. I’ve addressed the envelopes myself and trudged to the post office in a snowstorm to get them out in time. It happens and sometimes these cost-saving measures are totally necessary. But, if you can swing it (and hopefully you can with [affilliate link] this 15% off + free shipping deal! CODE: HOLCARDS), it’s totally worth it to get the high quality and fabulous service that Minted provides.

They put designers to the test with each design challenge and only the best designs make it through, so you know you’re getting something one-of-a-kind and top notch. What you see is what you get so you don’t need to worry about wonky printing issues and colors/foils that don’t turn out as planned. The best part though? It’s hassle free. Take advantage of their free recipient addressing so you can spend time being merry with that family you’re so eager to show off!
